I passed I think 3 Z4's on the motorway going up and back to southport today, all in the slow lane

I am a chronic speeder mind you but its just too easy even just cruising in 6th gear at 75ish to 100 takes no time at all, or in 4th? I've never tried that but it must be quicker
i drive in the slow lane too, it gives people the chance to have a good look at a Z4 coupe as they drive pass hehe

Snake Pass, lets wait for Lucy to get her car back then a day trip is on

We could then go down over the cat and fiddle road which is a bit lower down from snake pass, but it even better.
we need to determine who is going and then plan a route to suite every one, or the majority hehe

Count me in!

Were any of you at Ten Of The Best at York yesterday?
I noticed a grey Coupe parked on the grass inside the show.

today on the A40 near Oxford, roadster same colour as mine and judging by the plate owned by someone called S4AM

Yesterday

I spotted a silver coupe in Stockport at Stepping Hill Hospital, I've had my car for 5 weeks now and its only the second coupe i have seen, there is a black coupe in Glossop somewhere, saw that about 2 weeks ago

Does anybody have any idea how many Z4's have been sold in the UK?

Few threads on this although I can't find them at the moment.

For coupes in UK...

578 Z4MCs (official figure)
about 1750 - 2250 3.0s (no official figure available, calculated based on roadster figures)

I'm often in that area on one of my regular jaunts through the Peak District.

I rarely take the same route twice, but glossop tends to be either a start or end point on most of my trips.

In fact yesterday I did 330 miles covering as far north as Skipton and as far south as Matlock. Pity that some of the best roads were spoiled by numpties unable to overtake a slower vehicle and also unable to leave enough gap between them to allow others to overtake - I think my record yesterday was 6 cars and a truck that I'd been following at 30-40mph for 6 miles on the Snake, and that new 50mph limit doesn't give you much scope to use the power of the M either  .

Some of the best views (in the rain unfortunately) were when we entered Winnats Pass near Castleton - that's got to be one of the most dramatic in the area, even though it's quite short. You suddenly materialise on a downhill, twisty road, but between two hugh peaks of rock maybe 500ft tall and only about 200m between them, and you on this little ribbon of tarmac right at the bottom.

Yes i was there. Saw the coupe, it looked nice. My car was parked amongst the other 600 cars in the car park...

drove up to stranaer tonight saw a few zs on the way-south bound- a white one with black hood, red one followed by a startus grey.
North bound a black with 108s- i slowed and gave u a wave? Anyone?

Saw three Zed's today on my way to Hebden Bridge for the classic car show.

One blue M roadster and 2 black roadsters. Gave a nod to all three . :)

Black (and very shiny too) Coupe on the M2 london bound between Faversham + Detling Hill.

Today at 2.30.

There's one on Pistonheads.

whats pistonheads? i assume a web site?

Yes, assumed that most here had heard of it: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/1102977.htm

It's a car forum recently bought by Haymarket publishing, and invaded by keyboard warriors. Used to be a bit better than most forums.

i'm new to this car worshiping thing lol, i've never had much interest in cars so its all new to me, to me, a car is normally a tool
