Some amazing roads around here. I was coming down a windy road from the top of a mountain (well a hill really) at a decent rate of knots yesterday. Despite that I couldn't shake the Gauloise-smoking local on my tail driving a Citroen Picasso! :oops: He was probably texting his mate at the same time saying that some flash red car was holding him up on the way home from lunch.
 
Black M Coupe on Sunday 13th July travelling A303 rougly 20 miles from Exeter headings towards exeter.
Same day, black 3.0 Coupe driven by a woman probably in her 50`s heading towards London on A303 near Stonehenge. First time I have seen a Z4 COupe in my rear view mirror and oh so beautiful. Was next to it a couple of times but they didn`t acknowledge
 
Red Roadster on M2 London bound this morning looked very striking in Red had the top down :thumbsup: unlike a lot of people today
 
Snake Pass

I see a few of you Sheffield people fancy a trip over the Snake Pass, I'm on the Manchester side, i'd love to meet up half way some where

How about Sheffield, over Snake Pass to Glossop, then over to Saddleworth then back to Sheffiled via Holmefirth, nice round trip
 
many years ago i had a reliant scimitar, it was common practise to flash lights when spotting a fella scimitar driver, i'm sure they still do it now, maybe we should adopt this
 
Having just sold an MX-5 I've been use to other drivers waving or flashing lights at me. I was a bit surprised to have two waves from Z4 owners in the past few days.... one down near Waterperry Oxford ...silver roadster and a black roadster who screamed up past me on the M40 near Banbury... although he might just have been making me get out of the way!

Argh Taz! Looking at that picture of your stunning Coupe, it looks like I've got to get myself some better wheels and a lot of detailing!!! Busy times ahead I think!

i,ve only had it 4 weeks, strangley i was in oxford last week, went showing it off to my mates down there, i work in abingdon every month, normally i go down in the works car but this time i went in the Z4

In the MK1 MR2 club its common practice to pop the headlights up and down when spotting a fellow driver. I see a couple Z4's each day in leicester but none seem interested in saying hello.

Ps. talking of scimitar's my mate is currently putting a M20B25 2.5 engine out of an E30 325 into one.
 
If it is a red M flash me or wave - saw a nice silver behind me at lunchtime today, got annoyed with the car in front, whom i had let out and by the time i had swung the car around it was to late to wave. I always spot people after coming out of a junction or the other way on the motorway and being so low down the central barrier is in the way, normally too busy not concentrating i see them too late - whats the start of your reg and i will watch out for you, you anywhere around J21 or meridan - see a grey/silver one go past regularly. Stuck my hand up a few time to a couple in Leics and got no response feel a bit daft. Always use to do it when i had a spitfire, always got a wave back.

Theres a Red Z4M Roadster in Wanlip aswell.

We could then go down over the cat and fiddle road which is a bit lower down from snake pass, but it even better.

we need to determine who is going and then plan a route to suite every one, or the majority hehe
 
I passed I think 3 Z4's on the motorway going up and back to southport today, all in the slow lane :rofl:

I am a chronic speeder mind you but its just too easy even just cruising in 6th gear at 75ish to 100 takes no time at all, or in 4th? I've never tried that but it must be quicker :lol:
