Interestingly it was up for £115k last week, wonder why the price is going down... :D
 
fantastic if i remember right james bond had two a left one and a right one oh hang on it was cut in half :rofl:
 
I have just realised I have no taste - I would love one of these :whistle: :D

These are proper collectors items / future classics, something reflected in the price - IIRC these were about £80k when new.
 
if your going to go down this alley, you have to go with the alpina - the other is simply plain by comparison. really is only an enthusiast who is going to by that car at that price -
 
I just don't get these at all, don't like the looks and the price is a complete joke.

A 911 C4S, 2 BMW M3 V8s & a Z4M Coupe or one of those. Hmmm that's a toughie
 
Apparently the one in Oxford is being sold on behalf of a private seller who is cutting back on his "collection". Must be tough times right enough. :|

Add another to that club - I just don't find them that attractive. Wouldn't say I'm adverse to one, but I really can't understand the pricing of them whatsoever.
 
Got to be honest I'm in the camp that doesn't particularly like these. But admit have never seen in the flesh.

Were they actually any good? - think I have a dim memory of them being rubbished with ref to wobbly handling, but reasonable straight line speed. Or have I made that up?
 
The story goes that BMW got Alpina to fettle them to try and sort them out. I like the styling, although it's not to everyone's taste :)
