Close but no cigar .. 2189 Si Coupes plus 592 M Coupes = 2781

So only 2500 out :)
I think he was closer with 270 than 2781

It’s been done to death on this forum

The number registered in the U.K. quoted by me IS accurate

The way third party sites such as “how many left” record them ISNT

This:

http://perso.numericable.fr/tonyz4c/index30si.html

put together by a member on here lists every one sold worldwide plus all their factory specifications, put a couple of filters in and you can see the exact number registered in the U.K.

:)

Yes and the main reason being is that there are lots of allocations of the Coupe under different classifications, you need to add the different ones up such as Z4 SI Sport, Z4 SE etc. Such a common mistake (I had to correct someone on FB too) that is made not only on Z4s but on so many other marques too. Apparently according to the site when I had my ST205 Celica GT4 I was one of 3 owners in the UK ... which was interesting as I had a photo of a meet with 15 cars there

Would be kinda cool to know if I've been spotted while out and about, but there's no way of knowing, unfortunately.

Silver/grey M this morning, heading to Witney, gave you a flash.

Get your top down, it’s not raining :poke:
My wife gets fed up with me saying 'get your top down it's not cold'. Sssh there's a Pondrew about.

Very nice dark blue or black UK 3.0SI roadster (**57 ZZZ) spotted trundling down the French Riviera in Sainte Maxime yesterday. Minus points for having the roof up in the sunshine though… Have seen quite a lot of EU E85s here albeit mostly low spec/ ropey

Correct. However this very useful database doesn't include pre facelift numbers, certainly for the 3.0i SE roadster. I checked with tonyz4c, so I had to contact BMW to establish exact numbers for my research.

Black E86 3.0si on CSL Wheels driving through Newcastle heading towards the Tyne Bridge this morning. Looked very nice

Driving up from Paignton sea front having had a look at the waves this afternoon, saw a Sterling grey E85 coming the other way. To late to wave as we were on a bend and he had his roof up

Black 3.0si Coupe spotted 6pm this evening going down the hill into Ashbourne - stopped in at the fuel station - you got a terrific honk from the plonker in the yellow van behind you (not me)

Titan Silver E86 on the road past Chew Valley Lake around lunchtime today …made me wish I was out in mine

Cross country between Gatwick and Guildford this afternoon due to the ridiculous congestion at the M25/A3 roadworks.
- silver or grey E85 on the Crawley Road
- lovely shiny Montego Blue (or possibly an Interlagos M) E86 on the Guildford Road, short number plate maybe J . . .
- Dark blue E89 shortly behind
- And another (rather dirty) Montego Blue E86 in Bramley, short number plate maybe B . . .
All in the space of about 30 miles. Rather a lot given the wet roads today, and hardly ever see a coupe.

Black Z4M at the National Library of Wales car park. Wisely parked in splendid isolation from other cars at the far end of the car park  .

Maldives Blue E85 regularly parked up at Toyota Dealership in Carmarthen......Nice looking condition

In works car park (Dover) this morning. Seen it once before, a few month's ago. Was looking
in a sorry state then, moldy roof etc. Looks like it's receiving some TLC.
(That's my parking spot, like the defensive parking ? )
