E89 Birling Gap in Sussex about 11:30 dark blue or black, gave me a tentative wave which I responded to, although I was concentrating where I was going.

Took one of my daughters out and her comment was "daddy why does you car make that strange noise every time you go fast". She is only 7 though so has a lot to learn.

E85 parked up on Skeg seafront today, roof down. Couldn't get reg or model as only noticed as I was driving past....

When we saw it girlfriend commented "why would you buy a car that pretty so the roof can't come off...?!" Made me giggle in my roadster...!

Think it was an Alipna Roadster in Solihull about 15 mins later... Waved. No response.

Yup, saw a black e85 in Maidstone today with his roof up. I mean what is the point of having a roadster on a day like today and not putting the roof down, really :thumbsdown:

Should have it confiscated and be forced to drive a coupe instead :roll:

I have to admit,i drove mine a bit in the sun with the roof up -but only because i was going to be in and out of a few different shops,i felt embarrassed tbh because i knew people would be thinking the same

Who would own a roadster and not have the roof down with 18c on the dash and sun in their face!!

Andy that's disappointing I think you should forfeit and drive roof down all week

Saw several today on my way from West London to Bournemouth

E89 in bournemouth gave you a nod
Yellow E86 on the M3 heading the opposite direction to me
Several others but I dont remember them all!

Sterling Grey - prefacelift. Parked up South of Mere Green towards Sutton, near rail station. As I came back up the road an hour later you set off around an island and followed me (white Jag XF) at least 5 miles up the A5127 to Shenstone village.

• Grey '06 Roadster travelling West towards Basildon
• Black '06 Roadster (exactly the same as mine) travelling into Basildon along the A127
