Spot the subtle mod :)

Cheers for the help guys. Something little like this would have really pee'd me off, particularly as I would only have noticed it when finally getting to one of the meets and it would have bugged me all day!! :P But by finding out now I was able to just remove and refit as the glue was still sticky :thumbsup:

Think I might drive the car out on to the road and take a picture of the sides, make sure they're ok :P
 
Mark OT, but can you tell me if what profile tyres you are running on your E46 wheels are they standard M3 sizes or running 35 front and 30 rear?

Interested to know because I'm keen on upping mine to 40fr 35rear on 19s with Eibachs and worried it may be a bit tight?
 
I'm running 255/35 and 225/40 There is plenty of room too. When I replace the tyres I'll be going for 265/30 and 235/35
 
Is that with the Eibachs yeah? No rubbing? The front looks tight on mine with the 35s.

I feel the car is tramlining too much on my fav roads and I never feel out of grip so I want to reduce to 255/35 and 225/40 lol.

If it exactly replaced the 'OEM' position as you received it... Are you sure it's actually an ///M :?

After all, the car's not the colour you thought it was :poke: :P

I like the colour scheme. Did you change the plate to a black surround / GB flash too ?

Some pics would be great so I can see what the car looks like with the bigger profiles.

I currently run 265/30/19 and 235/35/19 and at the front the tyre looks quite close to the arch but nice to know it works.
 
The profile is a percentage of the width. So your 235/35 is pretty much the same diameter as my 225/40
