Sports seats on eBay

Manual.... But heated, which is a touch. Given you can swap the electric bases over these would be a great buy, cost offset by selling standard seats with manual bases to someone with a VW camper. Then £700-1000 for a re-cover...
 
Need to be red or cream leather on these seats. Black does them no justice.

Decent price, but such a shame they're manual.
 
The fact they're heated is key - I don't think you can retrofit the heating elements without basically rebuilding the whole seat. Ranski swapped his standard seats electric bases onto manual sports seats when he got his IIRC. Not sure it was too hard either.

I Didn't flip over the bases in the end, but I think a few others have?

Yes the heater elements are about £400 per seat from BMW :o

Easy to swap bases, as you say heating a bit harder.

As you are getting it retrimmed they can fit the heating element.
 
Yep sorry guys, but I couldn't let another set of perfectly good black seats slip by only to get re-trimmed in another colour! Hopefully the sale of mine will help somebody...

Out of interest why do you need manual ones? I get wanting heated seats, but surely the electric ones are just plug and play? The loom should already be there and all the 'electrics' are in the seat itself. Unless like me you're one of the weirdos that prefer manual seats :rofl:
