Sports seat belt retainer removal

Having a look at how to remove the seat belt retainer.
I found this link but still don't understand how to remove the smaller piece,

Can anyone explain it to me in simple terms before I break something. :?

It just pops apart at the top.

Might be different on your unique Sports seat belt!

The smaller piece sits in the two outer parts

If you look at the rear there are 3 rectangular holes, pop a small screwdriver in them to separate the two bigger parts

Yes they are unique, they bloody squeak

Once you have separeted them, a tiny piece of felt tape on both ends will eliminate the sqeak. https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=1849114#p1849114
