Hmmm... Most previous years there are 2 or 3 obvious winners and aload of random’s that you have to question “Why are they even nominated?” but this year is a tough one. Every nomination is a top world class sports person, and has made a significant achievement. How you decided between them is amost impossible. Do you look at the facts and break down each sport into its physical attributes and disciplines? That’s a impossible task to really, everyone will argue “This person is amazing because this.....” or “Tennis doesn’t count because he moans...” lol

So I personally voted for Jessica Ennis
A: because she has mastered multiple events and blitzed her rivals at the highest stage
B: because she is ‘WELL FIT” and Yummmmy!! :drool: :drool:

If you follow cycling you will know that Wiggins has a big personality. In terms of achievement, Wiggins winning the Tour, three other big stage races and the Olympic time trial this year whilst racing clean ( you can trust him) elevates him in my opinion above the other athletes.

+1 - Murray for all his achievements has about as much personality as a damp dish cloth.

Indeed, a brilliant watch. Also, that reminds me of the Ronnie O'Sullivan documentary Sport Life Stories.
In terms of personality, overcoming the odds and achievement he could feel unlucky not to be shortlisted for winning the world champs this year - what a guy.
