Connectors these days can be purchased from AliExpress -
https://a.aliexpress.com/_EJIvkxN although they do need a quick trim with some flush cutters but easy enough to do

for the price we pay for the car, you would think BMW would have an system whereby you could set the car up whichever way you prefer from the Idrive.

You can pre set the seats and mirrors etc so why not the driving modes?

Ha, the answer is simple: CO2 certification. The cars are measured in the worst mode they can "latch on", so if you allow sport mode to stay engage you would have to certify fuel consumption and CO2 in sport mode :thumbsdown:

I have now sold all the sets I had.

If there’s enough demand for some more then I will order a batch of connectors and pcbs and make some more.

If anyone is interested do let me know - important to note however, payment must be made upfront because I will have to order parts to make them that are useless otherwise and I can’t afford to be out of pocket
(sadly a long time ago I suffered from people vanishing once modules were made and I’d spent money putting them together then I have “dead stock” on hand that I can’t afford to be out of pocket for)
