Just to let everyone know the BMW Car Club GB is attending sports cars in the park for another year this coming Sunday.

I’m interested in going. I never had a car show this close to me down South, always had to drive miles and miles and this one is only 20 mins away :thumbsup:
 
How much are the tickets and do you have to join the bmw car club to go on the stand?

For a car, driver and passenger they cost £15. You don’t have to be part of a car club to show your car, they generally try and park car manufacturers together just to give a bit more structure to the show. If they do ask though just say you are with the BMW car club, that way you aren’t stuck out on your own.

Also they ask you to try and stay until about 2, in reality people generally start leaving earlier than that, so you don’t feel that you need to commit a full day to it, I want to be back for the Gp so will certainly be leaving before 2.
 
I'll be heading down from Darlington. Anyone heading down from the North want to meet up somewhere along the way. Scotch Corner perhaps.

Travelling from Manchester area towards A56 if anyone wants to meet enroute?
Planning on getting to Newby Hall around 10am

That would be good, perhaps you, Dave1971 and I could meet up enroute and anyone else travelling down. I am in Middleton Quernhow, so if you wanted to come off the A1 at Leeming Bar onto the A6055 I’m just off that
 
What's it like normally for getting into the site on a show day traffic wise?
 
Few of us from the Newcastle area in the BM club are meeting at Washington services at 7.15am and meeting more at scotch corner services for 8.15am.

Thanks Doddsy, and thanks for meeting me with the other lads. A fantastic array of cars there and the weather was good to. I will be more prepared next time with chairs and food :thumbsup:
