Curiously, the throttle system can go out of tune. Resetting it can improve throttle response and its really simple to do:
Turn the ignition on and wait for 10 seconds, then turn it off for 10 seconds, then turn it on again for 10, then start the engine.
Maybe its worth trying, not sure if it will work but its worth a go

Being pedantic, though not critical, the throttle doesn't go out of tune - rather it adapts to your driving style as it is designed to. If you drive the car like you stole it everywhere then it will 'learn' this behaviour and provide appropriate responsiveness ; if you do mostly commuting miles or gentle cruising then it will become less responsive over time. All that said, the throttle reset above has worked for me a number of times :thumbsup:
