Sports button fault

My car was in for a service at weekend, whilst there i got them to have a look at the sports button. I had been having a few problems with it i.e. intermittently not work and sometimes working but the LEd was not coming on

Anyway, they said the diagnostic test had reported 265 faults on it, as anybody else come across this, i don't recall reading about this before?

Can't help with the issue, but 265 faults - were you getting frustrated with it, by any chance?? :D

The number of your times you press it isn't related to how fast you go, Taz. It's not like NOS. :D

On a more serious note, hope you get it sorted!
 
you would be forgiven for thinking there was a fault with it even when there isnt by the way the feckin thing kangaroos with it on !!! :headbang:

Was it the car or its owner that had the 265 faults?

Recommend you get a printout, then get them to clear everything as it logs all sorts of stuff, so you can then see what's affecting the car when you take it in again in a few weeks.

Hope it's an easy fix

makes no difference as I took out warranty, actually I will feel better if its an expensive job, i'll feel my warranty was worth the money :)

I've had a slightly different problem with mine. Press it and the accelerator becomes binary and the car feels like it's glued to the road when thrown round corners. Oh, and somehow it makes me laugh out loud. Go figure.

Jokes to one side, good luck getting fixed as everyone else has said :)
