Sport switch

I was a little hesitant to try that but I think I should
I’m trying to find an exploded view of the switch somewhere to see if there is something missing as it looks like it

It would be simpler to just test the switch with a multimeter or even a battery and bulb?

So how does the light come on when you turn the ignition on then?

Have to say, simply swapping in a known good switch would be my first step, even if you have to borrow one.

I would agree hence the suggestion to just bridge the switch pins. I believe the bulb test circuit is simply that a bulb test rather than a system continuity test.
In truth this is not a difficult issue to troubleshoot IMO. No offence to anyone.

It comes on with everything else on the dash momentarily, obviously wired into that circuit for some reason
I agree that swapping the switch over just to try it is a good step but I’ve only had the car for 3 weeks and as yet don’t know anyone else that has one
They are not very common in oz
