sport springs with very low to no drop

hi

I'm new to this forum, got my blue z4 2007 3.0i 3 years and really enjoy the handling. It's stored for the winter so I use it everyday during the summer. I'm from Québec and what we call roads around here (bumpy, cracked, pothole infested battlefields) are not ideal for my e85, it bounces, crashes and scrapes it's belly, it's got 125 000km and i think everything is pretty much original, so suspension is probably not great. i was thinking of going with bilstein b4 as shocks to keep the ride not too harsh. I would also like to change the springs to something aftermarket, progressive, and with a minimum amount of drop, to you have any suggestions for me? I like sporty handling and spirited driving but roads are like minefields. This as probably been posted to death but i would appreciate suggestion for Springs.

Thank youZ4 side street.jpg

Hello and welcome, thats a very nice looking e85.

Sorry, I cant help on the suspension, I am sure someone with more info will be along soon

Welcome to the forum with your Z4 - it looks great.

Your description of Quebec roads sounds much like what we have in the UK! I never swapped suspension on my 3.0Sis, I just used to try to steer around the worst bits, grit my teeth and cross my fingers.

Thanks a lot guys, it's a very nice machine to drive.( if it could only stay as clean as the picture) I try to avoid some potholes but sometimes it's just everywhere, the worst is in spring, the thawing and freezing of the winter just messes the roads up. I founds some ST springs that they say drops only 20mm, with a thicker spring pad it might just do the trick. Does anyone have experience with ST springs? I was also wondering what tires you think work the best on a e85? I'm posting some pics on the lift, i'm still amazed when i look at them, if your car is used for 1 winter in québec it is scared for life, you will never bring back to what it was before, rust will have started everywhere. so when we see a car that hasn't seen snow it's always very special.
