sport seat on ebay

Not my seats but found these if anyone wants a set. Basic ones but hey, maybe an improvement on the se ones

These have been for sale for about 6 weeks, if they were £400 I would have snapped them up but asking too much. Plus they have grey plastic bases.
 
To be honest i have the manual base on my seats. I swapped from electric for the weight saving. They are half the weight and i really like them.

Also i think this is the guy i got mine from. He will do a deal i messaged him a low ball offer. HE said no i said fine raised it a bit and left it with him to think about. I had an email by the end of the day and it was good news.

I would have these seats over my old heated electric stranded seats no shadow of a doubt!!

PS I have a drivers electric base if anyone wants it if they buy these.
 
I went from electric bases to non electric bases and don't miss them. No one else drives my Z so the memory setting was also overkill

MM is correct, the electric base must have added around 10kg per seat

I am glad i am not the only one. I find them perfectly adjustable and comfy too.

Its a nightmare retro fitting heated seats :thumbsdown:

EDIT: Actually I should say - its a nightmare if you have a face lift Zed, but I believe pre-face lift Zeds are pre-wired for heated seats so that's half the battle. Still a pita sourcing and fitting the heated seat elements - plus you will need to buy and fit the switch panel.
 
I've got heated currently, so have the loom and power etc but I fancy upgrading to sports and not fussed about electric, so wondered if I could strip the headed stuff out of mine and fit to these?

This should work, so long as you buy pre-face lift M sports seats - should be plug and play :thumbsup:
(Striping out heated elements and refitting will be a pita though)
 
I have not missed the heated seats at all. But my car is not a daily.

Also these are only half leather would heating be needed???

I wiss these had been up for sale when i brought mine. These would have been 100% perfect for me.
 
I believe all heated seats are leather, I assume there is a valid reason for this, obviously you could butcher any seat type an add the element but there might be risk associated

Have half leather heated seats in my ST.
 
The main issue is they won't accept offers.

I've been trying to make them one since it was listed.

Really?? I thought it was where i got mine? looks to be the same place! Maybe i just got lucky.
Well he might be holding on to these for a while then. As they are worth £450??
