Spoiler - to paint or not to paint

An over Chrimbo beer induced purchase arrived today, I’m not a big fan of cosmetic Carbon but it seems a shame to cover it up. The M4 style spoiler looks ok but I can’t help thinking it would be more subtle colour coded, maybe paint the top and keep the underside Carbon visible.....I’ve got a diffuser waiting to go in for paint...

I do like a bit of carbon fiber here and there but in this case I think it would look better colour coded.

One question, with that spoiler in place can the cars behind still see the third brake light clearly?

Yeah, the lower central part allows for it to be seen, it’s just resting in place at the moment

Is that an Ariel Arrow? :?
Rob

Sadly not, 1951 Miele K30

Before and after, tidied but kept all its age visible.

That's a nice subtle resto on your Miele.

I'd definitely want that spoiler for your car painted though!

I wish I had the balls to carbon skin the rear diffuser

Shouldn't be that hard!
If I manage to find a diffuser cheap enough I may try it. Looking at the shape theres a few tricky bits but definately doable.
The sanding between stages would be a nightmare though.

Yep sanding the resin is b*tch! Personally though I think I would rather just get it colour coded to the car.
