Spit or Swallow?

I wanted my 1000th post to be special, so I came up with this question. A simple one that has been asked since Wrigley invented gum and built that beautiful baseball park in Chicago. Well, do you spit your chewing gum or swallow it? Were you expecting a different question?

I swallowed once by accident. But that was when I was 6 years old.

Someone scared me into thinking that gum sticks in your intestinal tract for 7 years, so now I spit it out. Either that or I chew it for a long enough time that the gum starts deteriorating... then I spit it out.

Sick bastards! I love chewing gum, keeps the breath nice and fresh . However, I do dispose of it properly by wrapping in a piece of paper and throwing it in a trash can.
