Spilled Water = Car calls Roadside Assistance

So, last night on the way home a little bit of water got spilled on the center console of the car (over the top of the SOS button). Since then, the car has been calling Roadside Assistance at random times. Should I wait and see if it stops or should I take it to the shop?

I would take to shop, there's always the possibility that in future it wont work if you need it to.

Remove the button and dry it out.

I will probably try to remove the button tonight and see if that works. If not...headed to the shop on monday.
