Hey everyone, first post on these forums though I've been lurking awhile.
So had a bottle of cleaning fluid in my trunk...it of course spilled and got on the battery. Before I knew this, I turned on the z4, everything worked fine but the speakers popped and then played a little music and died.
I didn't know if I just blew the amp..or a fuse..or what? I'm not sure where either are located as is. I'm not veryyy car savvy but can figure it out if anyone has an idea on how to check it out. I'm kind of struggling moneywise and would love to try a quick fix myself before taking it into a shop. I havn't had sound in a couple months now since this happened, and it's slowly driving me crazy for the summer. The station and song are still displayed on the radio, so everything seems to be working fine. I have a 2004 soft top BMW Z4.
Thanks guys!
