Speedo strife

Hi all, my 07 coupe speedo was working intermittently for a while but now has stopped all together.
On occasions the petrol gauge will flop about.
Any one have any ideas ?

My rev counter and temp gauge did similar when mice used my zed for lunch. If you can get the codes read and they are can bus faults. It could be rodents. Hopefully just needs resetting.

My Audi TT (Mk I 225C) did exactly this when it suffered the notorious dash pod failure. I don't know if it is possible to suffer a similar fault with the module that controls the instruments in the Z4 but I suppose it's possible :idunno: An OBD II code reader should reveal all...

Does it still add millage? if not buy a sat nav and use that as a speedo :evil:
