Annoyingly, I've got a speeding ticket from last week. The copper was by himself (no police car in view), hidden in a bush, behind a bustop, catching cars on the A414 as it drops for 100 meters from a 40 into a 30. The road was totally clear and I kept moving at the same pace, so got done at 44mph in a 30 zone. Is it any defence to go in front of a judge and say "to be honest it's fairly tricky to just do 30mph in a GT3RS..."
I've since read that the fines now can be salary based up to 100% of your weekly earnings and up to 6 points. I'm hoping it'll just be £100 and 3 points, as I've got a clean licence right now.
