Speeding car flies 200 feet

Poor kid....

I feel bad for the family....

I hope that people think twice before giving such a machine to an under-experienced driver. I only have a Z4M and I make sure that I do not turn Stability Contol off on public streets. I also would not drive that fast at night - one can outrun the headlights....

Shocking.... most thought-provoking series of threads ever.

I used to thrash quick cars 11yrs ago when i was 18.. but back then Merc S600's and Bentley Turbo R's were nothing like what an M5 is today.

How very sad.

It does appear now that the young man from the M5 forum is the one that passed away.

I read the entire thread. He was asking how to shift smoother and go faster. Everyone told him to be carefull and take it easy but he was very cocky and way too over-confident. Very Sad. :(

Unfortunately, cars are built to stay completely stable beyond a persons ability to handle problems on their own, otherwise their would be a lot more respect for the capabilities of a car to get into trouble. Do you honestly think their would be this many (as an example) //M's on the road if the "Nanny Equipment" was not there?
