Speed Warning Beep

Is there any way to remove the speed warning beep that someone has added to my car at some point. Beeps every time it hits motorway speed and flashes the speed on the screen.

Have a feeling it might need to be coded out but if there’s a hidden menu somewhere that would be really handy as it’s pretty irritating!

If you have the nav, it's in there somewhere under computer settings.

Well every day is a school day - I never knew about that crazy feature!

Mind you my first 2 didn't have Sat Nav and it obviously hasn't been set on my current one - thankfully.

Have you tried nipping into BMW and asking them, surely they can plug it in and find out what the story is and they shouldnt even charge for that hopefully!

So what is this ‘screen’ it is flashing the warning on if you have no screen :?

What head unit do you actually have? Have you got a photo of it?

Is it a business nav unit like this?

Or a business radio one like this?

Sorry, I’ll clarify as my wording was poor and I shouldn’t have said screen. It flashes up on the dash where the temp, miles are displayed. Same beep and warning as when it’s cold. I have the business radio.

Thanks, I assumed that BMW would charge a hefty fee to do it at the dealer but it’s worth asking the question!
