Speed sensitive audio with nav

Had my z4 coupe almost a week and have an annoying grumble which is the speed sensitive audio, Im sure its that anyway.

Im aware BMW have these from my E46, In that audio changed volume depending on speed to account for noise, The problem is mine is too sensitive as in there is a massive change of audio from relatively low speeds to 30mph etc. You can hear a big change.

Im aware there is a something similar to entering nuclear launch codes to adjust it although it cant be turned off completely apparently, But all the guides seem to show that if you have nav its different. There no options within the nav to change it, Just EQ etc.

Anyone any ideas?
 
thats why im not 100% certain it is the speed sensitive audio or maybe an issue with my phone, But I have heard some serious volume changes and it does seem to coincide with speed changes and I remember my e46 was annoying with it untill i set it to its lowest setting.

The EQ set up you had set is fantastic. I played with all the others but reverted back to what you had left it on.
 
Sounds a bit simplistic but have you made sure the aux is pushed in all the way on the cars end. Quite a while ago I thought I'd blown a speaker then realised the aux wasn't in properly.

Mines speed sensitive as quietens when slow with it getting louder once speed up :)
All good for me
