How long does it take for the letter to come after being/I think, zapped by a mobile camera? I was doing 56/57 in a 50 limit.
This was last friday, its now thursday follwing week and had nothing yet.
Fingers crossed!!
Assuming all the information at the DVLA is correct (i.e. you haven't moved recently, or the car's in a company name), then they have 14 days to send you the NIP, and you have to reply within 28 days.

However if your speedo was showing 56/57 then you were probably doing 53/54 and might be below the prosecution threshold anyway (which is supposed to be set 10%+2mph above the posted limit).

However, what I found in Liverpool is that the old ticket if above 35mph in a 30mph, and nothing for 30-35mph, has become ticket for above 35mph and speed awareness course for 32-35mph. (although only ever had one ticket, so just going by what I've read).

Don't assume this.10% +2 is ACPO guidelines as such it is down to the local force to decide if they follow them. Granted most do - but not all.

Unless your name is Brunstrom, in which case you joined the Druids, forgot who paid your wages and did WTF you liked.

I did a speed awareness course about 9 years ago at Leyland and TBH, I went with a seriously switched on attitude to learn the error of my ways, the classroom session in the morning was fine, but the drive in the afternoon was totally unacceptable. First thing I did was use the gears to slow the car down at a junction only to be lectured by the woman about clutch control to which I replied (in my head of course) my clutch has done 129000 miles and its still ok. Drove around a place I have never been to before got told to turn off a main road onto a side street which was very narrow and because I did so in second gear at around 15mph got another bollocking for driving to fast and basically putting the passengers and other road users at risk? Then got lectured on the joys of third gear for speeds between 30 -60  and how good a gear it is. Oh I forgot to mention there was another girl with me who went first and basically she stalled it a few times and just drove in a big circle on a dual carriageway and that was it, I got all the tricky town driving, sexist much?
