Without photographic evidence I would imagine that for everyone caught there would be hundreds (if not thousands) getting away with it. My point was that I would be concerned about a justice system that has progressed to the point where one's income reflects the amount you may be penalised for driving infringements......sounds like you need a good accountant rather than a lawyer in court. Under those conditions how much would someone like Trump be fined for the same offence considering he only earns A$750/annum? Can't see any potential problems with that system......or where it might lead.
The issue, in the case mentioned, involved a pissed off ex partner who, to spite the ex, managed get themselves jailed as part of the revenge....super clever.
