speech command

Press the button briefly. When you let go, there should be a beep sound. Say 'help' or 'voice commands'

Depending on if you have full voice control, or just the phone, the car will explain. :)
 
Have that fitted in my E89......must give it a go sometime as I wonder if it'll cope with my Scottish accent :lol:

If you have Idrive then full speech control is available. If you don't have Idrive then the speech button only allows voice calling functions for the phone dependent on options.
 
Speech commands is an optional extra. I have the I drive system but not speech for car commands. Speech is only available for your phone book favourites once you have programmed them.

The button looks good on the steering wheel though...... :rofl:
