I've looked at 3 Z4 3.0si one was a cat D but ok the second one was ok history ,45k on the clock ,but with a basic spec the third was top spec all the option boxes ticked with history,63k on the clock
All were priced at 8k ,9k,and 9.2k I've bought one but which would you go for !

wouldn't get the cat d one and the top spec has too many miles imo

as above, would go for the basic one.

when you say basic, what is missing that you 'need'?

I think it depends on what you use the car for everday would be 43k weekend toy and Euro trips maybe the one with all the toys

Have a look at mine mate - it's fully loaded and the best you will find!

Think he's bought one ?

As srhutch says, can't really tell. but my tuppenceworth - Cat D I wouldn't touch unless I intend to keep it forever ; basic spec, depends how basic as some things are very hard to retrofit ; I would go for the high spec, good history one if it was in good nick. At 63k miles it should have had an Inspection 2 already done not long ago IIRC ? I think at 45k the next service due will be I2...

Nor me , i would have gone for the 3rd option  good spec , good history & the extra £200 from the 2nd is nothing compared to adding extras later
