Speakers in drivers door

Hi there new to the z4 scene, my drivers door speakers don't work realised half way home and wondered if this is common?
Sorry if this has been discussed a million times before

If you have a basic radio system, you just get the speaker grills only in the door

Is this E85 or E89? I've got an E89 with what's described as the 'professional' audio system. The sound is rubbish, it's better in my daughter's little Clio... :-(

I don't think I have the storage bins :dizzy: not sure it has cd changer between seats and a black amp next to battery if that helps?
