Speaker Vibration in M40i when playing music

Trunk carpet needs to be removed indeed, but also the 2 side panels (3 plastic clips and 2 bolts with big rings each panel). To be able to remove the side panels also the plastic cover (that keeps the trunk light) needs to be removed (4 plastic clips) because there’s 2 of the plastic side panel clips underneath it.
Once the side panels are removed the bulkhead panel can be removed easily (pull on the lower side first to unclip it)
Maybe this all sounds like a lot of work but its actually done pretty quickly once you know where to find and remove all the clips.
Its not possible to remove the bulkhead cover without removing both side panels.

Hi everyone, so this week I had sound deadening installed to my Z4. Ever since buying the car I’ve been totally underwhelmed by the HK system; especially the rattles / vibrations coming from the rear parcel shelf and speakers. Having sourced a local audiologist (a fantastic guy and a pleasure to deal with) I’m delighted with the results. I can now listen to songs without having to skip any tracks with a degree of bass. I previously had my EQ settings to flat and the vibrations were still evident, not any more. I’m thinking of adding a separate amp next, but in the meantime, the system is so much better. Pics attached, some additional vents/holes were added to help the bass travel into the boot space.
