Speaker pops

So I replaced the carver amp recently and the occasional pops I hear coming from the speakers are still there, from all sources. Happens also when there's no signal i.e. when source is chosen but volume knob is at silent. fkn weird.
Ground issue? Blown speakers?

Its most likely a break in the circuit or a loose connection, this will cause the system to pop or make popping noises that can damage your speakers. This popping is a surge of electric current jumping over a broken or bad wire connection or possibly it might be a surge in your output settings from the amplifier.

Thx. Ur confirming my suspicions about loose connection somewhere and my fear that I'll prob need to trace through the whole loom. Gahhh
Can live with it but at some point its gonna bug me to the point of doing something.
Wait til the warm temps come back i think.... 8)
