Spark plug options??

I am planning to fit a new set of plugs to my 3.0si Coupe (2007) but never thought deciding on a set would be such a conundrum!

I was planning to fit the NGK Laser Iridium but doing a search on here, its been mentioned that although they're great for big mileage, they can be fragile and even not offer quite the same performance as the copper plugs (conductivity?) .

So, I have been thinking of getting the Bosch plugs (FR7NPP332) or maybe the NGK platinum plugs? I found a part code from BMW for the plugs but does'nt say what brand they are so I don't know if originals are Bosch or NGK?

Interestingly, ECP, don't list an NGK when enetering my reg, only Denso, Bosch or Beru.

It would probably be quicker and easier ( ECP about half a mile away!) to go for the Bosch plugs but only will if I know they're fine on the car and perform the same as the NGK Platinums.

Whats it to be- Bosch or NGK??

my thoughts were that these ngk plugs burned better but didn't last as long as OEM. so you have to replace them more frequently.

i had an insp 2 done recently and they fitted OEM ones as they would so i won't be changing mine for a long time but interested to hear what people think is the best option to go for.

phone sopers (dealer) and ask them directly? they aren't too expensive either my dealer charged around £12.50 per plug iirc so you could maybe get them for £10 a piece there.

£10/£12 a plug? Try ebay at £36.80 for SIX! No brainer really.

Got a link? (or, I could actually use the search function...).
My stealer quoted (wait for it...) $54 per plug if I recall correctly (that's about ‎£25.50). I wanted to point out that I would usually expect dinner and a drink first before being F**ked like that.
Instead I politely declined and left.

I was under the impression that NGK were the correct plugs for the m54.

Either way, both my m54's have had NGK bkr6equp fitted by myself and have been running well.

Picked them up from carparts4less (same company as ECP, just cheaper)
