Spark Plug change guide?

Hi all,

Tried using the search function, to no avail. Going to do a plug change on the car, is there a picture guide how to on here? I'm sure it's not too complex, just want to check for any oddities.

Thanks!

It's pretty similar to the E46M3, but a bit simpler - we don't have anything getting in the way of the engine => https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vhP0wlJkpC0

Why do you just want to change the plugs? I usually change them when I do valve adjustments since you'll have to take them out anyway.

Just changing them as part of some new year TLC for the machine. Oil and filter change, ICV clean, thought I may as well do plugs while I'm at it.

You think I should do something else while I'm changing them?

Air Filter/Cabin Filter?

I usually just follow the Inspection I/II checklist for preventative maintenance.

Hi,
See below for shipkillers spark plug guide, found in the "How to " section

Good instruction, but that's for a M54 engine. Since this question was posted on the "M" specific section, I would assume the OP has a S54 engine?

Oops, yes, I didn't notice that, and it looks like a slightly different procedure !

Thanks Fixit Man and yeh, I do indeed have the S54 engine, it's an M Coupe I'm changing the plugs in.

Nice... I 'd like an ZM but can't quite come to terms with the amount of road tax I'd have to pay, €880.00 /year for a 2.2 L is bad enough
