Hi everyone, going to replace my spark plugs this weekend on my 2004 3.0i

Has anyone got any tips or good video links for doing? Not done them on this engine before so wondering if quite a straight forward job or not.

Thanks in advance

Very easy. Plastic cover off, unplug the coil packs and hoick out the plugs using a long extension and a plug socket.
Check for any signs of oil around the plugs, which indicates that the top cover gaskets are leaking.
I always keep the coils in the same order but that's a bit OCD.
When you refit the coils make sure they pop securely onto the plug and that the electrical connector pulls in properly. you'll see what I mean when you get there: a sort of lever on the top that you lift to disengage the connector and then use to pull the coil up.

Spot on. I prefer to use a dedicated plug socket though, otherwise there is a risk of your socket/extension separating and losing your socket down the plug well. Laser do a decent magnetic one on Amazon.

And don't forget you need 6 plugs!. They seem to have gone up a lot in price since I last changed mine
