spare tire?

I've tried every donut, on the farm, on the car, but I can't find any that'll get around the brakes. Are yall carrying full size spares, is there a donut that does fit, or is there another alternative?

You might not like my reply but, I would rely on the airpump and maybe a can of fix a flat. A subscription to roadside assistance might also help.

You can use a standard BMW space saver tyre (sorry, tire... :D ) if I recall correctly, but they sell for £100+ on eBay over here, so have no idea what you'll pay where you are, Lucky. Jason presents the best option if you have non run flat tyres on

I'm on non run flats, and carry a tin of tyre repair... Personally I wouldn't go down the space saver route. Takes up far too much room for my liking, and may never get used.

I've never had a flat in ten years driving - touch wood

I just bought a set of wheels for my z4. It the fitment matrix I noticed that my wheels also fit a number of other cars. One of the other brands was a Honda accord. Why not go to a salvage yard and buy one of those compact spares. It cannot cost that much. Most have not seen the road.

I have got rid of the run flats but am nervous about not having a spare. I have a mobility kit but not fully sold on that idea.

Bavauto sells a donut that fits the Z4, in a kit that includes a lug wrench, jack, and wheel chock. I've seen the wheel and tire advertised elsewhere, but don't recall where at the moment ... as it's a BMW part, I'm sure you could order it through Tischer or the like.
