Hi all,
I know a number of fellow members have done uogrades on thier brakes with 4 pots and the like, has anyone still got thier original M calipers availble to swap with a little of the 'folding stuff' ?
My front ns caliper seized recently as the the dust boot had parted company with the piston housing nd let all the winter crud and crap in, I had it all stripped down and re-built, but was told if it goes again it'll be a new one
As guessed this issue has returned
and now I'm looking to replace the caliper, as I imagine this is not a regular issue with such an item on a car, I'm willing to save a little wonga and search for 'pre-loved' one  , so if anyone out there has one lying around collecting dust pls PM me, apologies if there is delay in replying, I'm off to Spa on Wednesday for a few days
, but not in the Z'd now
DA,
I have tracked down a 'pre-loved' caliper, but have been told the following:
Its off an E46 M3, 2004. It has covered 37,000 miles, is the bare metal type (not painted black like a competition pack brake) and does have an M logo.
Think this a bit of a retorical question, is it worth buying ? :?
