Hi guys,

I am aware there are a lot of spam posts at the moment, apologies for that. I am being deliberate about not locking down too much as previously we have had a lot of false positives and people getting locked out, and I want to avoid that where possible.

I am looking at implementing measures to cut the spam down, so please bear with me while I do that.

In the mean time, thanks to everyone who is reporting the spam posts, it really helps!

I have images in my head that when I click ‘spam’ a DEFCON 1 style alert goes off in chez Sp3ctre and you use a thunderbirds style arrangement to close it down

Seem to be getting the bulk of them... I'm currently 7hrs behind uk time so when I log on at 10pm US time, it's 5am uk time which seems to be the spamming happy hour.

Kudos to mods for sorting it, must be a right pain!
