Spacers

Hi, I have a 2006 2.5i and its on 17's which are not staggered. So running 225/45/17 tyres. I'm thinking of adding spacers, although not 100%, and wondering what size would be best. A quick man math moment with a tape measure and I'm thinking 10mm front and 17mm or 20mm rear. Does that sound about right?

Has anyone got any pics of your spaced setups?

10 or 12 or 15 is quite common on the fronts
15 or 20 common on the rears.

Depends on the wheel and offset!

That looks like a style 200 8” wheel with et46 offset. In which case the outer face of the wheel at the back is in almost exactly the same place as the standard staggered fitment 8.5” et50. If so, a 15mm spacer is bang on the money, 20mm is too big and protrudes outside of the wheel arch.
I’ve not tried spacers on the front but they don’t need as much as the rear. 10mm would probably be best.

Yes, they are style 200's. Thank you for the advice. I thought 20 might be a touch too far. 10mm front and 15mm back it is then.

Thanks, I see what you mean about the 20mm's, possibly just a touch too much for me.

How do you find handling is changed, if at all?
