Spacers on E89 28i

Hello, I am thinking of fitting spacers to my 2012 28i E89. I am running with the stock 19" rims but thought spacers might improve the look of the car.

Despite a long history of car ownership I have never fitted spacers to anything and as such know very little about the subject.

I am interested to hear from anyone who has done this or who can offer advice on what size to fit (front and rear) and if there are any other considerations I should take into account.

Hi, I fitted spacers to my e85 & depending on the size you will need longer wheel bolts to suit :?

I would only consider hubcentric ones & therefore a minimum 10mm which in your case assuming style 326 i wouldn't have thought you would need to exceed anyway ?
Tyre size & ride height can also have affect on how the wheels sit , is your car standard spec springs & tyre sizes ?
 
Hello Mr Wilks, correct on the wheels and yes, all standard spec. Not planning on making any changes to the tyres, will replace like for like at renewal time.
 
I've held off buying spacers as I will be increasing the tyre size and fitting Eibach springs at some point. From there I'll have a measure up and order accordingly.
