Spacers for 2004 Z4 Wheels

I have a 2004 Z4 2.5i. It has the turbine type of wheels which I believe is style #106. I would like the wheels to be a bit more flush with the side of the car. I was wondering what is the maximum length of spacers I can use, safely. I searched and one person mentioned 15mm although I wasn't sure for which model or wheel.

The maximum width of wheel spacers you can fit is in reality only limited by current vehicle Construction and Use Regulations (UK) which simply means that the wheel should be covered by the wheel arch to prevent/reduce spray etc (the regs are more complicated than this but in essence this is what they say). However the more you extend with spacers the greater lateral pressure you put on the wheel bearing - a bit like a piece of mud on the end of a thin stick - the longer you extend the stick the greater the lateral movement. I hope that makes sense. So 15mm seems OK - get hubcentric spacers of good quality and remember you will need longer bolts to take asccount of the specer.
 
You can use up to max 3mm realistically on std bolts, but i uprated mine and had Eibach hubcentric 10mm spacers on my previous car. Get hubcentric ones, as others are poo. Eibach do offer quite a few, or get hub adaptors. Then they bolt to the hub and the wheel bolts to them.

Hub adaptors are better for a wider stance, so say 40mm which is 20mm a side.
