Hi sorry i know its probably been done to death but i have searched and searched what space saver will fit my z4mc ? any help or a link would be appreciated many thanks
 
For the rears, a e46 17" spacesaver will fit, as it does for both front & rear on an e46 M3, but it won't fit over the Z4MC/CSL's bigger front brakes.
 
thanks WLH dont think i will bother then as ive got 3 cans of tyre "gunk" in the boot bit of a bummer there isnt one that will go over those big ancors on the front :x

Spacesavers seem to stop at about 17", and that's just not big enough to clear the 343mm disc on the front of the Z4M.

As I said, it will fit the rear, and the old tactic of putting the unpunctured rear on the front and the spacesaver on the rear won't work as the offset/sizes are different anyway.

The other problem you'll have with a spacesaver is the completely different amount of grip you'll have on one corner of the car, and I wouldn't use one and prefer to either use the mobility kit to get me home, or call BMW Assist if the puncture is too big.

I'm sure you can find some willing M3 owner to swap his 325mm brakes for your 343mm ones, then you can carry a 17" spacesaver :D

I have an 18" space saver from a jag off ebay

But does it have the right offset and inner clearance to clear the Z4M brakes?

dunno - if someone with an M nearby wants to try it for size, they would be welcome
