Space saver, what size?

Morning all,
Does anyone know what size space saver I will need for 18" wheels please?
I'll likely be trawling eBay and FB marketplace, so if you could also tell me what other model space savers can be used, that would be big help.
Thanks

https://z4-forum.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=49&t=107556 ....you may need to scroll down a bit! Take note that if you own a 3.0si (facelift) you'll need the 17" saver (due to front caliper size).

16” Space Saver – 115/90/16 approx. £30 for an average condition wheel. Expect to pay more for a mint one with no rust, etc.
17” Space Saver – 125/80/17 or 135/80/17 approx. £60 for an average condition wheel. Expect to pay more for a mint one with no rust, etc.

I have 18" wheels on my E85 and I bought a 125/80/17 space saver. I managed to get an unused E46 jack for 20 quid on Ebay.

The wheel is mint and came in a BMW bag. Cost me about £110 I think but I wanted a mint one with a good tyre thats not that old. I did see others cheaper but they were scabby and one had a tyre that was 16 years old.

This is mine...

OP, I got an unused 17" spacesaver, jack and wheel-brace for when/if I ever get onto non-runflats!

I needed a 17" to clear my front brakes as I've got a 3.0Si. It came from a 3 litre E46 as the 330i and 330d models have bigger front brakes than all the other models.

Most E46 wheels seem to have the same sizes and offsets as E85s/E86s.

Remember you have to have space to carry the dirty, wet punctured full sized wheel back home!

That's what your passengers lap is for!
