South Yorkshire meet - Ladybower - 23/04/17

Yeah, to echo the above comment, for those who don't know the Snake Pass like the back of their hand, can someone who does know where the meet is please give a clear direction to it - I'm trying to make my mind up about coming along and "the sarnie van in the layby" isn't quite the ideal level of detail...I can find Snake Pass Inn on Google maps, perhaps a description of how to get "there" from one of the nearby points would help?!
Cheers

Assuming you'd come down the M1 towards Sheffield as opposed to going over towards Manchester and Stockport Steve. The Ladybower reservoir is on the A57 snake road, its closer to Sheffield than the Snake pass. As you drop down the A57 from either Sheffield or the Rivelin valley road to the reservoir itself you'll pass the Ladybower pub on the right, the A6013 to Bamford and the Hope Valley that crosses over the water is on your left, which you wouldn't take, I've just put that there for reference, next right is the entrance to the road that leads round the reservoir and the visitor centre, just past that entrance is a lay by on the right with a buttie van. It's very easy to find, basically just follow the A57 until you get to the reservoir.

Cheers John, sounds like you're along the A57 past the turning to Bamforth, over the bridge over Ladybower and then look for a group of Zeds. Not sure if I'm along yet but appreciate the information

TBH I'd get confirmation as to wether this is still on Steve, not much from the OP confirming times and final meet point, it all seems a bit disorganised. :?

What's plans?? Just finished a full day of overhauling the garden and given the z a quick clean!

Looks like a great run out. Nice pics.

I must persuade Mrs R that we have a break in the Peak District, albeit that it will be in the Discovery and not the Zed as large hound will, I assume, want to be with us.
