South/mid Wales run. Interest?? 23rd SEPTEMBER

Hi all,

I'm just gauging interest for a run before I sorn my car for winter. I have a route which would start at Sarn services J36 M4 and end A470 Pontypridd/Cardiff, approx 150 miles of prime Welsh A and B roads with stunning scenery thrown in for free! :) It normally takes about 3-4 hours with stops for food/coffee etc.

I'm thinking 23rd September.

Anyone and anything welcome, no car snobbery :D :thumbsup:

Usual rules, it's a cruise not a race, public roads so speed limits and safe driving etc. to be observed.

I could be up for this, weather dependent. Oh and a possible issue with the wife, it being our anniversary on the 23rd. :lol: 9th is a no-go for me.
 
Hell I can spit to Sarn services. I'll double check nut 23rd be good. Also looking at Big Welsh car show on 16th if interest.

Yeah, weather will be a factor so I suppose we will make a final decision nearer the most popular date. Ps what a lovely treat for the wife! :D
 
Also, I'm no expert at arranging these things but have the route and a couple of stops. People welcome to duck in and out as it suits them, nothing is fixed in stone :thumbsup:
 
I would try and make it, either day is good - wife's birthday on 24th so she may need to come along - could be her main birthday present!

Yeah, work always spoils my fun! :D

Regarding my proposed run, it'll have to be the 23rd September because part of my route is closed for roadworks until the 10th September. Hope that suits everyone that's interested? :driving:
 
I will let you know,asap. As I said in my thread lots going on at moment, so I need to confirm all dates😏

No problem, I will update everyone on here. I've updated the topic to 23rd September due to road works. Hopefully we'll have a reasonable idea of the weather with plenty of notice :thumbsup:
