Sourcing an M Steering Wheel

Hello all,

can anyone tell me where I can find an M Steering wheel? (apart from BMW) - Does anyone know how much they generally go for?

Only 200 from the dealer for the sports (fat) wheel. No where is cheaper than that really unless you get lucky on ebay.

It's one of the rare ocassions the dealer is cheaper. I still haven't chance to finish off my buttons but hopefully this weekend I will get chance to sort them out :)

I have the loom required I've just got to fit it correctly and that should be it.
 
That may be for a Z4M, which has multi coloured stitches.
Ask for the M steering wheel for a Z4 (post 2005) and it should be £220 with multifunction buttons. Check the thread link ElegantSpoon posted, I posted a part number there at some point (even a photo of the part number on the box)

How they come up with their prices for M car parts is a mystery..... £815 :rofl:
 
Guys - if you currently don't have multi-function wheel, will an upgrade to a steering wheel *with* buttons work straight off? :driving:
 
You may or may not need a small wiring loom.... some cars (I'm not sure which) already have the wiring in place.
 
thanks... will investigate - not like it's a great distance to reach any controls anyway, but don't fancy the idea of having them there if they don't work :)
