Sound Proofing? And 1 other Question

Just a couple of quick questions for you

Under the bonnet of the Z4 (2003 2.5i) there's no sound proof matting. Is that right or should there be a mat? I saw under the bonnet of another Z4 yesterday and that hadn't got one either. Always assumed they didn't have any, but just wanted to check.

Also in mine it looks like there's something missing on the underside of the bootlid where in my other BMW (3-Series) the tool kit lives. Can anyone show me a photo of there's so I can see what it should look like?

Everything else is definitely present and correct, but been wondering about those two things.

The (pre-facelift, not sure about post-facelift) E85 has no under-bonnet sound proofing and there's no toolkit fitted in the boot lid - although,if you have the OEM wind deflector, there are a couple of brackets on the underside of the boot lid that are used to store the wind deflector when it's not in use

Hi, My Facelift Z4 has no Sound matting either, I don't think any come with it.

It's what I always thought, but wanted to make sure.

It was inside the boot that was a bit confusing as most pictures I've seen show nothing there at all, but mine has those brackets!
