now that i have one im wondering .. the sound generator is the induction air being sucked in - yes ? so why isnt there a loss of power as the air is invited into the bulkhead instead of it all going into the manifold ?

I removed the sound generator from my 3.0si as I thought the engine sounded so good without anything propping it up!![]()

I was surprised to find bmw had removed the trumpety device from the 3.0 e89, this suits its refined stature imho![]()
