Hi, I removed the foam on my previous Z4 (E85) and I just want to check that the process is the same on the E86 before I go pulling at anything... I only want to remove 1 piece of foam so do I only need to pull the tube that is attached to the cabin or are there any screws / bolts or special manoeuvres that I need to do... thanks in advance...
 
same process.
there are threads on here with a DIY.

piece from the cabin pulls out.
other side you need to remove the clamp holding it to the airbox.
 
Hi, thanks, i've taken it out... however i am very surprised with the feedback or should i say lack of feedback on the 3.0si compared to the 3.0i

Has anyone else here had a 3.0i and a 3.0si and done the same... would like to hear your feedback...
 
I took out the piece nearest the engine as i could'nt remove the pipe from the bulkhead,and i'm well impressed with results the noise is fantastic but also very addictive.
I think both out might be a bit much imo,foot to the floor,bring the noise :thumbsup:
