hi all
Im looking to replace the foam inserts removed from the Sound generator pipe on my 2006 3.0si.

Seeing as so many people remove the foam inserts, I thought maybe someone has kept theirs....

cheers
Dani

I'm pretty sure I still have mine. I'll need to check in the garage, but if I still have them they're yours.

Does have to be a specific type of foam?
I mean, a local furniture repair shop or habidashery store could likely provide different types of foam?
I don’t think the foam used by BMW is a particulate type and likely buying a small price from a local store/eBay would be cheaper and exoedient?

Hope this helps? :D

I should think any kind of foam would have sound attenuation properties, maybe even belly button fluff :P
